A couple of weeks had passed, and a small flame of friendship had ignited between Mithran and Chaahat. They had developed a pleasant routine of cooking breakfast together, and as time went on, they found themselves enjoying it more and more.

Chaahat eagerly anticipated the mornings when they engaged in friendly banter while simultaneously preparing two different dishes. She was a health-conscious individual, preferring only nutritious food, while Mithran had an undying love for parathas made in desi ghee.

To ease their morning preparations, the household helper had the parathas ready in the freezer, waiting to be cooked. Chaahat busied herself with preparing her usual oatmeal, slicing an apple in a rhythmic motion. Her sugar-less fruit smoothie was already waiting in the freezer, it's cold embrace ready to awaken her taste buds.

Mithran, ever the tease, glanced over at Chaahat's pot of bland-looking oatmeal and couldn't help but make a face of displeasure.
