With the three minions out of the way, Erik straightened his clothes before meeting his counterpart.
The Juggernaut was also no match for Magneto, which Eric knew very well, and the only reason he had to take on Magneto was because his skin was thick enough to hold him back.
As it is now, Magneto was flying in the air and Juggernaut looks for rocks on the ground. If Magneto wants to leave, he will hit him with a rock.
But now it looked like he wouldn't be able to use it.
"You're back at last. I have some questions I hope you can answer." Magneto didn't seem surprised by Eric's return.
"Don't bother!" Eric flew across to Magneto and looked at the aged homunculus, pointing a finger and sending a wave of electromagnetic information through.
Magneto stared at it, his expression becoming more and more unbelievable as he looked at the young Eric, his eyes widening, "Is this real?"
"It's true!" Eric said with a smile as he spread his hands.
"So, what's the future of mutants?" Mutants, the leader of the Brotherhood who was willing to fight the world for the future of the mutants! Having just been informed of Eric's identity, his first question was for the mutants.
"Max, you have to understand that mutants have always been part of the human race!" Eric sighed and said, "Mutants are experiments done on humans by the Groups of Celestial, humans are the root of mutants!"
"No! Mutants are evolution! It's the future of humanity!" Eric's words seemed to shake Magneto's beliefs that he had held on to his whole life, making his voice almost growl.
"Max, don't kid yourself, you should have noticed by now that mutants are born in cycles. Now, or a decade or so ago, was the peak of mutant birth, but in recent years, the awakening of the X-gene has become more and more difficult, and perhaps in a few decades or a hundred years, even without external forces, it will be very difficult for mutants to be born again."
"That's not possible!" Magneto roared, his magnetic field rippling around him, sending metal objects flying all around him. Eric raised his hand to calm the rioting magnetic field and then sent an electromagnetic pulse at Magneto to calm him down.
"This theory was proposed by the British scientist Nathaniel Essex over a hundred years ago, and sadly, he was right." Eric stepped forward, patted Magneto on the shoulder and led him down to the ground.
"Is there really no future for mutants?" Magneto closed his eyes in silence, as if he had aged decades in an instant.
"Even if the mutants rule all of humanity now, in a few decades, the mutants will still return to the human race!"
"A few decades? Then I want those decades!" Magneto stared at Erik, his aura reasserting itself, "I don't care about the future, I want these decades!"
No matter what difficulties lay ahead, he would never give up.
"Okay, I'll help you."
...
Leaving Magneto and the mutants to catch up with Professor X, Eric enters the interior of Apocalypse's newly built pyramid alone, where an extremely complex transformation device is located.
It was this device that gave Apocalypse the means to take over the powers of other mutants.
The designer of this device was Imhotep, the perfector of the Egyptian ritual, the founder of astronomy, the designer of the first pyramid and the founder of the Brotherhood of the Shield.
He was known to the ancient Egyptians as the "God of Medicine and Wisdom" and led the ancient Egyptians to exterminate the invasion of the Brood, an alien race of insects, at a time when Apocalypse was only one of his men.
He founded the Brotherhood of the Shield, an organisation that continues to this day and of which many famous figures in history have been a part.
Michelangelo, Zhang Heng, Galileo, Leonardo da Vinci, Isaac Newton, Tesla, Howard Stark ...
The most famous and most secretive organisation in the history of mankind is the one that has had the greatest impact on the history of mankind.
S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra are both the product of a split in the Brotherhood of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s eagle logo, which is derived from the eagle on Imhotep's shield.
In a sense, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra are the two sides of the same coin.
Eric felt the intricate metal structure of the pyramid's interior, his eyes gazing through the massive pyramid to the solid gold spire at the top.
"What a genius design! How many years ahead of human society is the Brotherhood of the Shield? It's a pity that I only checked the Cosmic Cube's records."
When he was still trying to find a way to break the cosmic barrier leading out of the King Thanos Universe, he had tried to join the Brotherhood of the Shield. It was also there that he had found the idea of using the small fragment of the Cosmic Cube from there.
"I wonder if the Brotherhood of the Shield in this universe will accept me?" As he thought, Eric waved his hand and extracted all the metal from the pyramid, crumbling it together and sinking it into the ground.
There is nothing unusual about the materials of this device, they are all ordinary gold and the like.
What was really valuable were the intricate patterns inside the pyramid, which Eric had already memorised in his mind.
...
The four horsemen, who had no apparent animosity towards Eric and his group, soon abandoned their former master and took Hank's plane after learning that Apocalypse was dead.
Magneto and Mystique followed Apocalypse for the future of the mutants, and Storm and Psylocke for the power. Hank and his team are here to rescue Professor X, who has been betrayed by his best friend.
They all have different goals, but they all get what they want, so it's safe to say they're all happy, laughing and joking on the plane, not looking like they've just been in a life-or-death duel.
"Hank, I'm just wondering why you're the first one to call me when something like this happens?" Erik got his butt between Hank and the Mystique, disturbing Hank's clumsy love approach.
"Uh, Eric." The good times were interrupted by Eric, and Hank looked a little rushed, "Because you're Arik and your name is first in the phone book, so of course I'll call you first."
Erik's face darkened, "Man, you're one of the smartest guys on the planet! How could you make such a cheap mistake? My name is Erik, not Arik!"
"Huh? I'm sorry, I was in a panic, I didn't look hard enough." Hank hastily apologised, his blue hair whipping around his face like a blue lion.
"Who recorded the phone book?"
Hank pointed at the sleeping Juggernaut , "Marco did."
Eric was speechless.
At that moment, Magneto came over and patted him on the shoulder, "That's why I changed my name back to Max."
"Oh? The Academy's old phone book was also recorded by Marco?"
"No, it was Charles, he deliberately wrote my name wrong so he could put it first."
At that, Eric couldn't help but glance at Professor X, who was keeping a smile on his face, and winced.
Good friends for life ...
