Black Bolt along with all his people entered the icy caves of Antarctica. If they didn't have the help of their fellow Inhuman who can track and locate other Inhumans, they would have never thought their brethren is hiding in this place.
"How long? We will freeze like this." Medusa asked Shreya. Shreya was leading the team with the help of their Royal dog, Lockjaw.
They were unable to pinpoint the location of the Inhumans that were hiding here as something like an invisible cloak was hiding their traces.
Unknown to these Inhumans, Phil had made many updates to the cloaking tech of Island and their base. Unlike a static barrier, it is more of a wall of particles that are constantly in motion and hence deflecting any kind of tracking technology.
The Inhuman group was mostly teens and a few adults, and they were shivering because of the cold but they walked stubbornly. The only hope of safety was finding sanctuary with other Inhumans and the ones on earth must help them.
"Here. The final location is coming out of this tunnel. I will go with Lockjaw to check the other end and come back. Wait for me." Shreya finally found a passage to Shadow Isles and then teleported with Lockjaw to the other end.
When she appeared on the other end of the tunnel, she was shocked to find herself outside of a barrier. A white barrier like the wave of the sea was covering this entire area and if her estimate is correct, this place is more than 10 times bigger than their city.
"Did our brethren make another Inhuman city? How will they deal with our Royal Family? What should I do?" Thinking about the complex questions, Shreya went back to fetch the other members of her group.
------Operations Room-----
Fury was watching as the battle between the Avengers and Kree was finally over. They won with their beautiful teamwork, and they had very few casualties. The whole battle lasted no more than two hours, but it was too intense and brutal compared to a human war.
Imagine if they didn't have sorcerers to nullify and contain most of the damage, their base would have been ravaged by the aftermath. Plus, it was this starry blue girl who managed to contain those space bombs that had a higher energy signal than a few Nukes combined.
This team was more than enough to tackle Aliens, but they needed new members.
"Hank and Janet are old. Their bodies might be of 40-year-old, but no man and woman can fight such intense battles without any enhancement. Their bodies won't support them. We need new replacements for them. Plus, we have been missing two birds for a long time. Icarus and Valkyrie need to be reborn.
Then these Inhumans. I need to divide the team, train new members, and prepare proper positioning for them. Less than 20 Aliens almost overpowered us. What will happen if we fight an entire cosmic civilization?"
Thinking these things, Fury was busy making plans and then backup plans. Currently, he was the only one here as everyone else had gone to the medic room to meet the injured teammates.
"Sir, I have detected few life signatures outside our cloaking area. It seems a group of 40-50 people are standing there for some time."
Martha suddenly issued an alert to Fury who stopped typing on a keyboard. Looking at the monitor, he saw a group of kids along with a few adults in strange costumes.
"Make a face scan. Try to find their background. I need some information about these people. Who are they and how did they find us?"
Fury ordered Martha and meanwhile issued a red alert to Avengers at the same time.
Phil and Eric who were in a debate about global politics found their command comms giving an alert signal. Master Mordo who moved back to the Kamar Taj simply noticed the signal and gave a big sigh.
"I might be the sorcerer supreme, but I am not a superhuman. I also need to sleep. Bastards! It better be something important otherwise I will trap the cyclops in the nightmare dimension!"
Picking up his tired body, he created his teleportation circle and came directly to the command room.
Eric, Phil, Nat, Yelena, Matt, Isaiah, and Fury were already in the room looking at the monitor.
"What is it this time, Phil?"
Master Mordo asked in his tired voice. No way, who told him that after becoming the sorcerer supreme, he had to fight aliens in the morning, demons in the afternoon and then train new kids at night. He has not even watched new episodes of his favourite show these days.
"Well, we got visitors. Outside our gates. Plus, it seems they appeared out of thin air. No facial match to any known database. We have no info on our new guests." It was Fury who replied.
Well, looking at the Black Bat and Medusa, Phil already knew their origins, but he won't say this out loud. There is no way to justify the source of this information besides, even if he does know they are not enemies, they are still not friendly.
The moon was attacked first then it was earth. The attackers were Kree. Clearly, those guys were hunting down Inhumans, the experimental breed they created. They are simply here to hide but he won't allow them to live on Earth without getting proper clarity of their thoughts.
"Well, then why don't we go outside and chat then? I mean you are not afraid of a bunch of kids who look like frozen popsicles. Are you?" Master Mordo simply created another portal that just opened in front of the Inhuman group.
"Shall we?" Master Mordo asked and moved outside to meet this new group.
"Let's go. Master Mordo is right. We are not afraid to fight, and it might not come to that stage. Martha notify Gordon to come please." Phil made the decision for his group and then all of them came outside of the portal.
Getting a notification from Martha, Gordon directly teleported outside the Shadow Isles and met the group.
