Kapitel 74: Chapter 74: Talking to Yagura
Naruto channeled an insane amount of chakra through his hand into Yagura's chakra system, slowly but surely overpowering his chakra system, then it happened, Naruto entered Yagura's mindscape.
Yagura's mindscape was cold and very watery, it was basically just a giant sea, the water raged around Naruto the current bringing Naruto along with it, presumably to Yagura.
Naruto floated with the water for a few minutes and eventually arrived in front of Yagura and Isobu, the man was sitting on the giant turtle's head looking at Naruto, inspecting him closely.
"It is nice to meet you officially, Mizukage-san." Naruto greeted the man, who was obviously different than on the outside.
Yagura nodded at Naruto, "It is indeed nice to meet you, though I have to ask, who are you?" Yagura asked Naruto.
"I am Uzumaki Naruto, the Jinchuriki of the 9 tails, and a Jonin of Konoha," Naruto replied.
Yagura quirked an eyebrow, "Uzumaki huh? Haven't seen one of you for a long time now, my village had quite a good relationship with the Uzumaki clan, too bad the last Mizukage decided to kill your clan off, I recommend that you go to the site of your old village, the three villages that attacked weren't able to gain much other than some scrolls as the seals protecting the Uzumaki treasury were far too strong for us to break through, so you will most likely find some things."
Naruto nodded at Yagura "Thank you for the information, I will go and check it out when I'm done here, now I have to ask you, who put you under such a strong Genjutsu?" Naruto asked.
Yagura looked at Naruto and contemplated for a while "The man that put me under a Genjutsu called himself The Ghost of the Uchiha, he was quite powerful, he was capable of phasing through all of my attacks and was capable of putting both me and Isobu under a Genjutsu, even though we have full control of our mindscape we are incapable of controlling our body as if we are simply a puppet that works on orders." Yagura said with disdain in his voice.
'The Ghost of the Uchiha?' Naruto thought to himself, he remembered Sasuke talking about someone called that.
"Isn't the Ghost of the Uchiha, Uchiha Madara, who's supposed to be dead?" Naruto asked Yagura.
It was Isobu that replied this time, "It was certainly not Madara, I've met the man before and his strength is truly overwhelming, but the man that we met was not even close to the real Madara's strength, though he was strong enough to defeat us the real Madara would only need to look at us to trap us in a Genjutsu." Isobu said.
'That bastard Madara has died, I know that much for sure, but death can easily be worked around so he may have revived himself, or he plans on doing so, either way, we need to break Yagura out of his Genjutsu, only then can we try and figure something out.' Kurama said to Naruto in his mind.
Naruto nodded and looked at Yagura and Isobu, "Alright, Kurama and I are going to break the two of you out of the Genjutsu, after that we can figure something out to find the man that calls himself Madara and take him down." Naruto said to Yagura.
Yagura sighed out loud "I am afraid that that will be impossible, I am not under any form of Genjutsu after all, it is simply that my mind has been controlled into thinking that it is in a Genjutsu, and because of that the man was able to alter my mind and put commands directly into my subconscious effectively kicking me out of my own mind giving him complete control over me, the only way to cancel it would be to kill me." Yagura replied.
Naruto grinned "Well, we'll see about that." Naruto said and approached Yagura.
Naruto raised his hands and a giant scroll appeared in front of him, the Scroll of the Uzumaki was an extremely useful tool even if Naruto couldn't use it to its full potential, the knowledge contained within it would be enough to cancel out the Genjutsu on Yagura.
The scroll unfurled itself as Naruto channeled his chakra into it, Naruto pointed it to Yagura while he wrote a few seals on a blank part of the scroll, the scroll was basically endless as it created new paper the more information was stored within it, after Naruto finished writing a few seals on the scroll tens of chains sprouted out of it and pierced themselves into the very mindscape of Yagura and three of them stabbed into Yagura and Isobu.
The scroll then started glowing as hundreds if not thousands of different seals and symbols combined into one seal.
What Naruto created was a seal to effectively counter the Genjutsu Yagura was under, the process took a few minutes which showed that the Genjutsu he was under was extremely powerful, for example, Naruto once used it to seal a genjutsu that Sasuke used and it took him a measly 5 seconds to create an effective seal to seal a Genjutsu created by Sasuke's Sharingan.
In comparison, the Genjutsu that Yagura was under was many, many, times stronger, understandably so as it was capable of changing the very mind of someone, which should have been impossible in the first place, the Sharingan was truly a bullshit Doujutsu.
Naruto then copied the seal that the scroll created and applied it to Yagura's mindscape, it would allow Yagura to retake control over his body and it would protect his mind from being controlled, albeit only temporarily, but it would be enough for Yagura and Isobu to be able to retake control over himself.
While Naruto was doing this many things had happened outside of Yagura's mindscape, Naruto's two clones were being attacked by an unknown man who was wearing a black cloak with red clouds on it, they were unable to hit the man as he phased through their attacks but the man was also unable to touch the real Naruto and Yagura as whenever he came close to them he got blasted away by one of Naruto's clones.
Eventually, the man managed to pop one of Naruto's clones which alerted Naruto who was still in Yagura's mindscape.
Naruto looked at Yagura who was still trying to understand what just happened and alerted him about the man's presence as well.
"Yagura, I need you to retake control of your body as soon as possible, I can't protect your body while fighting the man." Naruto said to Yagura.
"Don't worry, it will only take us a second." Yagura and Isobu replied at the same time.
A new enemy had appeared for Naruto to fight.
