Kapitel 113: What do you want?

"What did I do?" Matte Romani asked Calliope as the man who was having dinner on their table slapped the table and left with a huff. 

Calliope only shrugged and didn't say anything. She was having a hard time controlling her smile. 

"That young man is living in Mrs Rose's cabin, " Someone whispered. "I heard from someone that he has been inquiring about going to sunset point. I think he is going that way." 

"Oh dear, the sunset point is dismantled. Heavy construction is going on that way. They put the board there last night saying not to go there as they would be blowing up the area with mines, " Another woman said in a soft voice. "I hope someone tells him about this. Last night, my husband who has been working with construction workers was saying how hard it is to make that area plain for big vehicles to drive." 

Calliope, who had heard the whispers of the gossip ladies of the town, left her meal there and ran out of the cafeteria.
