Kapitel 80: Ch 70 - Yamato
As we entered my house, they noticed the sudden change in sound from the raging river beside us.
"Well, you guys can sit over there while I cook some treats for you guys," I said to both of them in a nonchalant tone as I entered the kitchen to cook some sweet potato fries coated in sugar, kinda good actually, made it a few days ago when I wanted something sweet.
I soon entered my kitchen leaving the two alone in the living room and cooked up a quick bowl of sweet potato fries, and in just a few minutes, I walked back to see the both of them talking to each other.
"Enjoy," I said and prop down the bowl on the table beside them as they nodded while saying their thanks.
"So what do you two plan to do now? You must be sick staying inside here right?" I said to them as they munched on the sweet potato fries and were surprised at how good it was.
"It's not that bad, but do you mind if we stay here for the night?" asked the witch with a smile.
"Of course! I have some spare rooms made just in case this does happen" I said with a jovial voice as they nodded in appreciation.
"So why don't you two share some things about yourselves? Let me go first, you can call me K, I lived inside this forest for more than a week already and made a farm" I said to them with my aura language being that of an amicable man.
"You lived here for more than a week?" asked the witch in surprise.
"Yep, it's quite peaceful living all alone in a grand forest like this with no life, it makes me feel like I'm in line with nature," I said to them while taking a piece of sweet potato fries.
"Umm, if you don't mind me asking, how are you going to eat that with the mask on?" asked Lute with a meek voice from the side.
"Oh, it's simple," I said in a nonchalant tone as the fry passed through my mask and directly entered my mask as Lute almost choke at what he saw.
"Cough, how did you do that?" asked Lute as he looked at my mask in wonder.
"Lute!" said the witch in a hushed voice.
"It's by doing a simple magic trick, but enough about me, why don't you two introduce yourselves? I feel like you both have a fun story to tell me" I said while grabbing a handful of sweet potato fries.
"Uhh… I'm just a simple adventurer who travels the lands fighting monsters" said Lute while averting his gaze from me.
"Then what? A green hat bearer put a green hat on your head?" I asked Lute with a teasing smile behind my mask.
"Green hat?" asked Lute.
"It means you got cucked," I said in a nonchalant tone while munching on my sweet potato fries as it seems like Lute's heart skipped a beat.
"Well, that would be unfortunate right? Like imagine your childhood friend having sex with a hero right in front of your eyes, personally, I would kill him if that does happen to me" I said with a chuckle while nomming on some fries.
"…" responded Lute as the witch looked at me with suspicion in her eyes.
"But do tell me, I could see the hate in your eyes, something must have happened right? Who would go into this forest so willingly" I said while munching on some fries.
"I- I- … I did get cucked by the hero, Louis Crawford," said Lute as I acted surprised.
"Cough, sorry for my insensitivity, I didn't expect one to get cucked by a reincarnate," I said as we three stayed silent until I broke it with another cough.
"Eh herm, what about you, young lady? I could also see the thirst for vengeance deep within your crimson eyes" I said while still munching on some fries as they slowly notice that the amount I was eating should have already depleted the bowl but it was still full and it made them widen their eyes a bit.
"I want to hunt down the nine reincarnates," said the witch with a nonchalant voice as I just nodded.
"Mmm, it is indeed a revenge story whose two threads of fate have coincided to hunt the nine overpowered reincarnates bestowed with a cheat skill. But… why do you plan to kill them?" I asked with curiosity in my voice.
"It's because they are pieces of trash who became powerful due to sheer luck," said the witch with spite in her voice.
"Oh, they must have done some really terrible things to make someone this angry. But I do follow your sentiment, success shouldn't be determined by luck but instead effort and the will to improve, the will to become better" I said with a change in my tone that seemed to spook them a bit that I didn't even notice.
"But we can't change the fact that they are lucky, how would you even hope to kill one of them as you are right now?" I asked.
"We already killed one of them, we killed Louis Crawford," said the witch.
"Really? But he's still alive" I said with a shake of my head.
"What!" said Lute as he stood up in shock.
"Yes, he is indeed still alive, I accidentally revived him because I found his dead corpse in the capital," I said with a shrug as everything became silent.
"B- but he already lost his cheat right?" asked Lute.
"Oh no, he still has it," I said with a shrug as Lute looked at me in anger.
"YOU BASTARD!" said Lute as he rushed towards me with his blade drawn out but he got stopped by the witch who looked at me with a glare.
"Tell me, how did you revive him, we clearly saw him die," said the witch.
"Well I really can't explain how, but can you two please sit down first and explain to me why you want to kill them. From what I heard from you both, it seems only Louis is the evil guy in the nine reincarnates" I asked them with my hands on my knees.
"… They have done many terrible things behind the public eyes, like Imerda Pinata having the royal princes of the empire under her palm with her cheat skill. Or Don Will Dead secretly being the cause of the destruction of kingdoms by summoning his undead and razed down kingdoms so his army could grow" said the witch with a cold gaze.
"Oh, so the Lich that recently appeared is because of Don Will Dead?" I asked.
"No, it was just a normal lich," said the witch.
"Well, it seems like I have done a grave mistake indeed. But I could make up for it for you two, tell me, what would happen if I give you guys a little Gift?" I asked them with a smile behind my mask.
"What is it?" asked the witch with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, it's an old friend of mine, a buddy if you will. He's been just stored for a long time now only left to rot with nothing to do. I think it should aid you in your adventures" I said as a portal started to split open in front of them as they looked at it in surprise.
"Come out the sword that severe space itself, Yamato," I said with a dramatic tone as the hilt of a katana slowly appeared from the portal, and with one pull, the blade I made just in case something like this does happen.
Yamato, a katana I made in this one-week time span that is the most powerful sword I ever made, forged from some random metals Gaia has made for me inside her little domain, then enchanted with my cheat so that it's literally unbreakable and could just become restored due to my time powers. Then I also made it so that the user can bound it to themselves and grant them unbelievable prowess, control over space will be an ease to them once they have this sword bounded to their existence, and best of all, due to my unknown third ability, this sword could act like an exp drainer so that when it slays an enemy, the holder would be able to strengthen themselves as if they leveled up but there is no system.
A perfect sword that could be a golden finger on its own, a sword that has op cheats and also allows the holder to grow!? Now that's a main character sword if I ever find one.
"W- what is it?" asked Lute as he gulped in response to the aura he felt from Yamato.
"Let's go outside so I could give you guys a simple demonstration," I said as they nodded and followed me outside.
"This sword is called Yamato, a weapon that could cut space itself," I said and as they watch me draw out the blade, they watch as with one swing, space itself started to distort in front of me.
"Not only that, you will gain the ability to control space," I said as I teleported myself behind them while the witch looked at the Yamato with wide eyes.
"You can also grow stronger the more you use Yamato to slay down enemies," I said as I threw the Yamato towards Lute.
"Well I don't need it right now, I already gained the ability to control space all by myself," I said as I teleported in front of them which shook the witch to the core as she didn't sense any fluctuations in mana, it means that the person she was looking at right now could control space all alone.
"Have fun with your new sword Lute, but let's go back inside already, I could teach you the basics tomorrow, but I'm a bit sleepy from eating too many sweet potatoes" I said and walked back inside the house nonchalantly as the duo looked at my figure as if I was a strange being.

Yes, its the sword Vergil uses, its cool so I decided to make our tiny little Lute become a big boy with his new sword.
