Belly Wescott was curious about Dylan Flack's current situation and wanted to know if the medicines had indeed worked. Dylan seemed as obedient as usual, nestled in her arms, but Belly sensed the obvious worry in George Flack's eyes.

"How's Dylan doing?" Belly casually asked, looking down at the child in her arms.

George wasn't sure why Belly suddenly asked this question and was caught off guard, pausing for a moment.

Dylan spoke up and said, "I was sick, and it troubled my father and me at the hospital."

Dylan's tone was particularly aggrieved, as if he had done something wrong and realized his mistake.

Not rushing to ask George, Belly first comforted the child in her arms. "Dylan must feel terrible being sick. It's your father and me who didn't take good care of you, making you sick. How could it be your fault?"
