Kapitel 14: Being a normal woman again
Dimitrescu point of view
As I sit here waiting for my supposed dear husband to come back I look back on the past month. The things that man has done for me and my daughters can not be counted. First of all he cured me of my sickness, so I won't need to constantly drink blood. He also relieved me of one of my worries that if I meet Miranda again I would go back to being her puppet. My daughters have also been helped by him, now that they have real bodies they don't have to worry about the cold. They also have taken a liking to him because he trains them to be stronger and use their abilities better in combat.
I think about how he has treated me as a woman and not as a monster and hasn't tried to get me in bed right away like all the men I met back when I was singing jazz. Even though I was prepared for him to take me the first night he stayed here he didn't. He obviously was attracted to me which did feel nice after all this time alone but he never tried anything for some reason. I almost thought he had a problem getting it up, till I smelled his scent coming from that girl he brought with him. Obviously I was a bit furious but I calmed myself down because I had no right or power to go against him.
'He did say I would be one of his empresses but that did not make me any less upset. But we are only married in name so I guess he can sleep with whoever he wants. Doesn't mean a woman like me doesn't have her pride and I need to talk to him about other things as well.' As I'm thinking about these things I see a dust cloud coming from the direction he left. As he got closer I saw what he was driving and to my surprise it was a 1958 Plymouth Fury on of the news cars released before I came back to that village and was forced to stay there.
'Nice car can't wait to take that out on a spin.'
"Mother, fathers home" my daughters told me looking happy. They have been more happy with him around then ever before and I had complicated feelings about that but I was happy for them. They used to torture the men and maid's in the village before for fun but now they don't because there father tells them not to. They seem to have more fun when he takes them out to train and hunt anyway, they say because their father praises them.
When he parks the car in front of my castle he goes inside and shortly after he comes to the room I'm in. 'Don't know how he always knows where we are and what we're doing but at least he's not our enemy now.'
"Father your back, why didn't you take us hunting with you?"
"Ya father, why?"
"Why, why?"
"Sorry girls maybe next time, so Alcina you wanted to talk."
"Yes girls, give your father and me some privacy."
When I say that they start leaving the room with upset faces, it looks like they're quickly turning to daddy's girls. I look at my dear husband like always wearing something that a royal would wear and that blind fold I don't think I've ever seen him without it.
"So what would you like to talk about?"
"That you haven't touched me yet you touch that woman you brought with you even though I'm your empress."
He just looked at me and said "I thought you hated men so I was taking my time with you, didn't think you would get jealous" he said with a smirk.
So I threw a desk at him which didn't hit him and just stopped before it reached him he gets it and puts it down. "You know that doesn't do anything so why don't we continue our talk."
"Is she one of the empresses you mentioned to me?"
"No but what kind of emperor doesn't have a harem?"
I get a dresser this time and throw it at him and again he picks it out of mind air and puts it on the ground.
"Then be a man and sleep with your empress and stop humiliating me in front of your harem."
He just walks up to me, picks me up in bridal carrying style and takes me to bed. I'm so shocked I didn't react till he was taking my clothes off.

I wake up and reach out only to find he is gone. 'Typical man gets what he wants and leaves me alone.' So I get up and look around to see him near the only table I didn't throw at him last night, bleeding into one of my wine cups. When he fills it up he heals instantly when he notices I was awake and brings me the cup.
"Here drink this, I noticed during our little exercises last night when you bit me and drank some of my blood you got a bit stronger."
I was surprised by this, most humans would fear or be disgusted by me wanting to drink their blood and here he is offering me his blood. But I took the cup and started drinking his blood and it was the most delicious I have ever tasted. After finishing it I felt power going through my veins and noticed my powers over space getting stronger. I quickly looked at him to see how he would react but he was unfazed from his body movement, I noticed he didn't care that I got stronger. Like even if I get ten times stronger he can still end me if he so chooses to but that didn't make me afraid, it got me excited to think this man will be my husband and I his empress. Granted one of many or few only time will tell, at least he wasn't planning to make every woman he sleep with a empress from look at that girl he came with he was also going to make a harem.
"Good you got a power up and it looks like your power over space got stronger."
'He really doesn't care, no matter the stronger I am the better.'
"So what are you going to do today "dear" because the girls were sad you left them out yesterday?"
"Probably go hunting with the girls."
"By the way we never formally introduced ourselves a little late now but I'm Alcina Dimitrescu, head of the house Dimitrescu and descendant of the four kings."
"Qin Shi Huang, founder of the Qin dynasty, and first emperor of a unified China."
'So he was emperor in his last life that explains the confidence, and I guess a emperor does need a harem even my own father had multiple women but unfortunately I was the only heir to the Dimitrescu name.'
"Okay I'll see you tonight for another round, wouldn't want you feeling humiliated again" he says before closing the door while laughing, just before the table I threw hit him.
'He can be unbearable sometimes but this warm feeling he gives me of being a normal woman again.' Though much of my time at Miranda's side I was something like a puppet that would follow anything she commanded of me and my mind being a mess thanks to the cadou parasite. It by no means makes what I did right and at some point I think I actually started to enjoy it but when I told him all that he just said "I've done many things worth being sent down here to, I'm not one to judge." Now that I know he was a emperor I know he was telling the truth, you don't get in a position of power and stay there by not doing awful things.
'Maybe that's why my daughters love him so much, why I'm starting to like him. But he can at least take his blind fold of when we're having sex.'
