He used the energy to facilitate greater synchronization and cohesion between his consciousness, perception, Comprehension, and cognitive ability.

It was something similar to Adara's infinite Consciousness. He tried to create a scenario where they all operated at the same frequency. Similar to creating an intent but without the 3rd dantian to house it. He gained profound results while using the superficial collaterals as a conduit to connect the different facets of the mind.
