His body went through a metamorphosis. The attraction rate of his body increased. He felt rivers and oceans of Imperium charging at him at all times. His Valdis was constantly revolving, and his meridians were in flux, saturated with energy. This recent development put breathing back on par with eating techniques. 

The metamorphosis extended to every fiber of one's being.

Speed and strength reached new heights. Control of his body had increased exponentially. Everything, muscle, bone, cell, and tissue, was under his control. He could control blood flow, heart rate, even his genes. He could tell every gland in his body when to produce hormones and how much. Whenever he needs a boost, he can simply have his body produce some adrenaline. 

He also had mastery over his breathing, which had two major benefits. The first benefit was the inability to get tired. He releases heat through with his exhales, and cools his body with every inhale.
