"What do you mean, my wife?" asked Theodoric looking at Ivy.

Ivy recounted what Derion had told her. She, who had hoped to keep the secret in order to protect her husband's feelings, was forced to tell Theodoric knowing that Derion was very obedient to him.

Theodoric sighed then looked at Derion. "Is what your mother said true, Derion?" asked Theodoric.

"That is correct, father. I already apologized to him, father."

"He's already apologized. Better not talk about it, Ivy. You might be sensitive because of your pregnancy," Theodoric said, relenting.
