Theodoric lifted Ivy's body without feeling heavy. He carried her with his sturdy body up to their room.

Mason and Katarina finally chose to stay behind to accompany Theodoric, who was worried about Ivy's condition.

Mason looked worried too. If it wasn't because of him, Ivy wouldn't faint like this. While no one knows what caused Ivy to faint, Mason would still feel guilty.

"You guys can go to the guest bedroom. I will handle her by myself" Theodoric said.

"Are you sure, Theo?"

Theodoric nodded without turning his head towards them. He chose to keep staring at his wife who closed her eyes unconsciously.

Mason and Katarina finally opted out among the maids toward the guest room. Meanwhile, Theodoric was trying to sleep to wait for Ivy to wake up.

Three hours later Ivy finally opened her eyes. Her hands twitched under Theodoric's awake grip on the side of the bed.
