Kapitel 134: Chapter 134: Taking Off Clothes

The bottle shattered, shards of glass scattered, and several patches of fresh red bloomed on the white shirt sleeve of Qin Jie.

The whole sequence had happened in a flash.

Qin Jie was a distance away from Chen Enci, and by the time he rushed over, the bottle was already swinging toward her head.

With no time for much thought, he instinctively used his arm to block it.

The pain brought some clarity to his mind, and in the next moment, he threw the man down on the ground and gave a little shake to his injured arm. As the less deeply embedded shards of glass fell, Qin Jie looked up at Chen Enci: "Are you okay?"

Chen Enci met Qin Jie's gaze only after a brief delay.

She remained silent, but her eyes caught sight of the blood on his arm out of her peripheral vision as she looked away. She pursed her lips, and after two seconds, slightly shook her head in response to his question.

"Let's go," Qin Jie declared, opening the door to the box.
