"Absolutely not!"

Su Weifeng's face was just about to touch Lin Xuanxuan's when he suddenly flipped over, leaped off the bed, and bolted straight out of the bedroom.

In the bathroom, Su Weifeng doused his head with cold water for a good five or six minutes, gradually quelling the heat within his body.

"What's wrong?"

Just as he hesitated on whether to return to the room, his mother's voice sounded at the bathroom door.

"Ah, it's nothing." Su Weifeng hadn't heard his mother's footsteps approaching, a major oversight on his part, which by itself indicated how distracted he had been by the recent incident.

"Didn't you just take a shower?" Doubt flickered in his mother's eyes before her face took on an ambiguous smile, and she said, "You can't take a cold shower after that sort of thing. It's bad for your health."

Su Weifeng's face darkened; his mother obviously thought he was sweating from exertion and needed another shower.
