Kapitel 629: False Accusation

Li Caiyi had just woken up when she received a call. Checking on the caller ID, it was her manager. "Hello?"

"Have you checked the trending news yet?"

"Trending news?" Li Caiyi forced her eyes to open. "Is it about the movie? The final cast will be announced today, right?"

"How can you sleep when everyone is now talking about you. Quickly check the link I have sent you!"

The phone call was immediately hung up after that. Her manager rarely sounded agitated like this, so Li Caiyi dared not to waste time. 

She opened the link and was startled when she saw her name mentioned in the article. Her manager also sent something else along with the article link. It was another link directed to a video posted on a social media platform by an anonymous person. 

The article was posted by one of the tabloids on their website and quickly gained traction due to the public's anticipation towards Director Shen's next work, "A Lost Memory."
