When she woke up the next day, there was no sign of Dai Zhiqiang anywhere. It seemed he left after making sure she had fallen asleep last night.

It had been a while since she had a dreamless sleep. The reason must be because her concern and deep-rooted anxiety were slowly healed by Dai Zhiqiang's reassurance.

Just thinking about what happened last night made her smile. Yesterday's date made her feelings bounce all over the place, but in the end, everything resolved nicely. Or at least, that was what she thought. 

There was only the matter regarding Xia Rouyue left. Dai Zhiqiang repeatedly explained to her that he had no romantic relationship or feelings toward her, but Li Caiyi still felt unsettled. Perhaps if she heard it from Xia Rouyue directly, she could feel more at ease.

Li Caiyi wanted to trust Dai Zhiqiang properly this time. Not because she was blindly in love but because she worked hard to earn it.
