Kapitel 106: Overconfidence

Austria, June 12th 1797

Johan was looking straight at a random spot as his eyes looked incredulous. "No... I'm... not gonna win again?" he wondered with a shaky voice, in disbelief.

Lukas looked at Johan out of the corner of his eyes. "Johan... shall we go?" he asked.

Johan didn't answer Lukas, so the blonde boy walked closer to him and slapped his face hard.

After the slap, Johan finally seemed to wake up from his daze. He looked Lukas into the eyes with a disappointed expression.

Johan sighed shakily. "Lukas... this is... such a big coincidence. How could this happen? Why?!" he asked.

Lukas sighed. "You have to learn to cope with that kind of things," he said. "Come on, give it your all," the blonde boy said.
