Kapitel 29: Chapter Twenty-nine; Lucien's Plan

"M'lady" Simon called surprised by Lady Gila's sudden presence, why is she here, and now of all times.

"Who is she? Who is this wretch?" Lady Gila said, looking at Imogen indignantly.

Wretch? as much as that word annoys Simon. He has to keep his cool, he can't lose his anger with his fiancée because of his slave. That will only put Imogen in trouble, there is only one way out of this.

"She is my slave," Simon answered and Imogen bowed her head for Gila as is custom .

"Why is she here with you? What is she doing here, My lord?" A slave going out with her master is nothing new, but a slave that causes a dispute between two nobles is a weed that needs to be removed.

Imogen and Gila looked at Simon, waiting for his answer. Imogen already regrets ever coming here and is also angry at Edward for holding her hand.
