His eyes turned blood-red, and dazzling light radiated from within him.

He knew the old man had regained control of his body.

The shadow, upon witnessing this scene, appeared somewhat shocked.

Yet the old man remained silent, directly starting to channel his breath.

"What's going on? You were just a mortal; how could you use the power of the soul? Who are you, really?"

The shadow's voice screeched with a menacing tone.

However, those present had no idea what was happening; they didn't understand what had just occurred, or why the previously composed shadow had now gone insane.

After a moment, a vortex-like black hole formed in front of Connor.

Upon seeing this vortex, the shadow screamed and tried to escape.
