After leaving Jorge's place, Connor called Freya.

However, she didn't answer the call, probably because she was in a meeting.

Connor understood that his identity had brought significant pressure to Freya. This was also why she hoped to manage her company without relying on his connections. So, he didn't want to disturb her.

After some thought, he decided to call Dominic.

Connor didn't have many friends in Porthampton, and the only ones he could think of were Dominic and his friend with Spencer.

"Dom, what are you up to?"

Connor asked cheerfully after he answered the call.

"What special occasion is it today that you're actually calling me?"

Dominic responded with surprise.

"Well, look at how you're saying that. Can't I call you?"

Connor playfully retorted.

"I thought you had forgotten about me and Spencer..."

Dominic said in a slightly annoyed tone.
