"Hold on, so let me get this straight." Nathan raised his hand and said in an even tone.
"You want us to leave Kepler and escape the bounds of the known universe because you want to avoid any absurdly powerful entity that might be interested in us and get stronger, even though going to these so-called dimensions is equally risky?" He asked, and Gideon nodded.
"I won't pretend like it doesn't sound outlandish, and I honestly don't blame you guys for feeling apprehensive. But hear me out." Gideon said calmly.
"No need." Nathan said and rolled his eyes.
"Obviously, we'll all go. We know you wouldn't propose something like that without our best interests in mind." He said and waved his hand in front of his face.
"It's just a little... sudden, I guess." He admitted looking a bit tired, and Gideon sighed, knowing exactly how he felt. They just couldn't catch a break.
