Kapitel 145: Be My Queen

It was not easy to escape the king's quarters with the sheer number of guards Romulus had placed at the entrance. He tightened security not only in case someone stumbled upon her and tried to take her blood but in case the witches came up with another of their evil plans. 

Thanks to Dahlia exposing Tatiana and her immense help in capturing the other witches during the wedding, Romulus organized what could be described as a purge to weed out the witches hiding amongst the humans. The witches couldn't hide their signature from the vampires without that ring, hence it wasn't hard to fish them out. However, there could still be some hiding and waiting for an opportunity to eliminate Dahlia, hence the reason for the extra security.
