"Why did you sacrifice your children instead of those goblin warriors?"

Jhin looked at the village chief with a questioning gaze.

He couldn't understand it! Children were the future of the race, if they right away sacrificed them, who would lead their tribe in the future?

Old warriors were destined to retire, some couldn't even retire and would die on the battlefield. Who will replenish the losses of their forces?

"Hmph! What do you know?" the village chief angrily barked. "They are just freeloaders! Having them as a sacrifice would be their greatest contribution to the tribe!"
