Chloe Stephens stood at the bustling street corner, Len Hawthorne's figure nowhere to be found.

Behind her, the black cat slowly approached.

Chloe expressionlessly boarded a bus, without even looking at Austin Godfrey or Allen Godfrey.

"She should be alright, shouldn't she?"

Austin was somewhat worried.

Allen shook his head: "She's fine."

The black cat anxiously rushed forward, only to find it couldn't get out.

It was horrified to discover that Chloe had locked it out.

Austin watched the black cat desperately try to break through and get out, only to be repelled upon reaching a certain distance, the entire cat panicking.

"I told you not to betray so casually."

Austin had no sympathy for it.

"Meow, meow, meow!!!"

The black cat was running around in circles anxiously.

The black cat didn't go with Austin; it approached him not by its own will but by instinct.

It was as if they once had a deep connection between them.
