"Kneel to me if you still want to live!" Hector arrogantly ordered, his despise for Rezen was clear for everyone present to see
His arrogance really knows no bounds and such words turned Rezen's eyes colder than before
"You are not qualified" Rezen answered before immediately dashing forward to his enemy
"Bastard!" The arrogant man cursed. Seeing how fast Rezen was, Hector took out some shurikens and threw them to forcefully slow down Rezen
The shurikens emitted metallic sounds as they flew in a straight line
Rezen's eyes flashed and he immediately jumped in the air. A single jump elevated him several meters in the air. Just as he was about to take his own shurikens, his face grimaces from pain and he was unable to do that
"He was injured from before. Could he win this?"
"Hector's chance of winning this battle is high. How lucky for him!"
"I wish my opponent would be injured too!"
Those were the thoughts of the slaves watching this battle. They have seen how the fatty strikes Rezen in his side
If that blow didn't affect him even just by a little bit, that would be abnormal
Rezen is also perfectly aware of that fact, hence the reason why he was currently acting
If he wants to, he could defeat his opponent in one blow but he doesn't have a choice but to hide how powerful really is
In the end, Rezen landed on the ground while his momentum was cut off
"Hmph, you're only this much!" Hector sneered. He thought that Rezen was just inferior to him

With high confidence, Hector took out two daggers and wielded them with his hands as he charged forward to his foe
Rezen touched his side for a bit before taking out six shurikens from the pouch on his side
He threw all those shurikens in the air and they knocked against each other
"Pfft! Are you that stupid!" Hector exclaimed, further looking down on Rezen. He was completely unaware that he was being tricked
The shurikens might have hit each other but that doesn't mean they became useless
In fact, they even became more lethal. Most mana warriors would throw their shuriken in a straight or slightly curved line but Rezen was different
His shuriken skills were top-notch. On each of Hector's sides, two shurikens aimed at him, and the remaining two shurikens went behind him
Hector only saw the shurikens aiming from his sides and he blocked them with his daggers
The remaining two on the other hand successfully attacked him from behind
The man felt a sharp pain in his back and he can also feel he was bleeding
That injury causes his face to turn red from both anger and humiliation
"B-bastard!" Hector raged, anger helping him not to feel the pain that much. He charged at Rezen and when he was in front of him, he raised his foot to kick him in the stomach
In return, Rezen blocked that blow by crossing his arms in front of him. After that, he swiped his leg on Hector's remaining foot in the ground causing him to lose his balance
Rezen then immediately took out a dagger, planning to stab his enemy with it when Hector immediately retreated
Rezen followed suit and the two exchanged multiple blows. Hector was clearly inferior in skills but Rezen has an 'injury', dragging the battle longer than it should be
After the two exchange multiple blows with each other, they both jumped backward to put distance
Both of them were panting hard for breath but their expressions were completely opposite
Rezen still looks as calm and cold as before but Hector was raging
"Bastard, you force me to do this!" Hector muttered, his eyes filled with determination
He controlled the mana inside his body quite forcefully as his mana control skills are still lacking
While doing that, Hector also inhaled a lot of air through his mouth and nose, causing his stomach to bulge a bit
"[Fire Style: Fireball!]"
When Hector opened his mouth, a fireball was instantly released by him. It was the magic skills that was one of the basics of basics
All slaves were taught how to perform it but not all of them could use it even until now
Hector is befitting of his position as one of the most talented among the slaves as he managed to use a magic skill
The fireball flew in the air, aiming for Rezen's life. The surrounding temperature instantly rose as the slaves watched in amazement
Even the members of the Bloodthirsty Wolves were nodding their heads at Hector. Who among them didn't train for a long time to use even at least one magic skill?
However, just because Hector can use one doesn't mean he could win
His fireball has strong firepower but it would be useless if it wouldn't hit the enemy
Rezen don't wish to reveal all of his power and he decided to run. He avoided getting close to the fireball that was chasing him
With how hard it is for Hector to use and control the fireball, it surely wouldn't last long and things are really as Rezen expected
After some time, the fireball dissipated as it wasn't able to hit its target
"Shameless! How could you just dodge like that!" Hector shouted while wiping the blood in his mouth
His mana control is still not enough and he gained some internal injury after using the [Fireball] that didn't even manage to do anything
Hearing such words, Rezen look at Hector as if he was an idiot. In a battle of life and death, is there really even a move that is shameless?
The arrogant man felt humiliated by the stare he was receiving and his anger exploded
Hector forcefully controlled his mana again as he swallowed more air
For the second time, Hector uses the [Fireball] technique but the result was still the same
Rezen toyed with him by running away, not giving the fireball a chance to harm him
The second fireball causes Hector to puke out more fresh blood but he was still unrelenting
He uses the [Fireball] for the third, fourth, and fifth time yet the result was still the same
His mindless actions just hurt him more and in the end, Hector kneeled on the ground while continuously coughing blood
There were even some pieces of flesh in there, a testimony of how seriously injured he was
Seeing that, Rezen took his chance as he appeared behind the coughing man. His movements didn't falter even by a little bit as he slit Hector's throat from behind
The once arrogant and talented man fell to the ground with his lifeless body
Rezen knows that he should be disgusted by what he had done but almost no ripple appear in his heart
He has long accepted that in this world, to keep himself safe, he don't have a choice but to kill
Rezen already hardened and forcefully froze his heart for situations like this
"Ohoo, our Rezen is still really the best!" The crooked man said loudly while patting Rezen's back
It was a pat but the force behind it was definitely not little. Rezen felt as if his back would burst from that force
This crooked teeth bastard really enjoyed hurting him
Rezen chose to keep his silence which irritated the crooked man. After making sure that Rezen is hurt enough, he then let him go
"Hahaha, brother Rezen, you're really strong. Please take good care of me in the future!"
"I am willing to follow brother Rezen forever! He would surely be able to climb on the ranks!"
"There's nothing that brother Rezen could not do!"
The slaves immediately fawned over Rezen. Although they are slaves there would still be a hierarchy between them
In the future, the stronger slaves would lord over the weaker slaves. With Rezen's talent, it was no problem for him to become one of the highest-ranking slaves
Rezen didn't pay them much attention and just waited until all the battles have concluded
In the end, less than half of the seventy slaves survived. There were those that decided to perish together with their opponent
The members of Bloodthirsty Wolves didn't stop them from killing each other. Only by experiencing bloodbath would these slaves grow stronger and in return, be of some use to the gang
"Hehehehe, you slaves wait here or go take a shit or something. When I come back with the slave collars, all of you would become true slaves forever. Enjoy your remaining time!" The crooked man announced happily before walking off
Rezen looks at his fellow slaves, although they survive today, none of them were feeling good
Some of them have good relationships with their fellow slaves but some of those people died today
There are even close friends that killed each other to survive. They are all in a miserable state
