Because of the Congealing Bead, Alex now knew where to find the treasures and the key left behind by the Tribe of Tomorrow. It is just that the leader had set up a test for the one who wants to obtain his treasures. It means he needed to first pass the test before he could obtain the treasures and the key to open the gate where the Stone of Tomorrow is hidden.

Alex was able to know about the test because of the Congealing Bead. This small mountain range now belonged to Alex, but even so, if he wants to obtain the treasures hidden inside one of the mountains, he has to first pass the test.
