Kapitel 576: There can only be one

A few months ago, in the Moon Palace…

Celeste, the goddess of the moon, formerly Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, was staring at a pool within which a beautiful girl floated.

The sleeping girl's silky long hair had almost turned fully white, a metamorphic side-effect of Asclepius's power, leaving beautiful black streaks in the fray.

These black streaks would be gone as well by the time he was done, signalling the completion of her two-year-long healing process.

She lay afloat in the pool, in a peaceful slumber, untouched like the delicate petals of a blooming moon lotus… under the constant watchful gaze of the god of Medicine Asclepius and the ever-anticipating goddess, Celeste.

It had been nearly two years… and Celeste had not once settled, waiting constantly for the girl to be fully healed.

"For the god of Medicine, you're really taking your time, dear nephew," Celeste commented.
