Kapitel 21: 21

Nathan's back hit the wall behind him very hard. But for a moment, he immediately stood up and grabbed Dinda's hand so that Dinda could escape the clutches of the arrogant boy in front of her.

"Don't touch my girl!" Nathan was angered, with embers starting to ignite in his eyes.

Even with Panji, he doesn't accept that Dinda—his girl, is suddenly recognized as property by a handsome boy like the guy in front of him. The guy with the cold stare that hurts. Panji himself couldn't even feel the guy's true nature in front of him.

"Dinda, my girl, it's been two years. So, what right do you have to admit that my girl belongs to you, bastard!" angry Panji did not accept.

While Dinda could only freeze, the two boys on the right-and-left side now seem to be fighting over something they want. Meanwhile, another part of her memory kept recording how Panji's figure had touched her body. It felt, all the cold and pain seeped into her bone marrow. The coldness seemed so natural that it made her shiver with cold.

Nathan took a step forward, and his body leaned forward, then he grabbed Dinda's shoulders so that she was right beside him. Meanwhile, his other hand grabbed the collar of the banner's white and gray uniform. Nathan's gray eyes scanned every inch of Panji's face. The part of a person's face that for some reason makes his emotions overflow.

"Get out of here before your injury's efforts I destroy right now," he said, with total emphasis as if what he said would happen.

But, Panji smirked. He tilted his head for a moment before he looked back into Nathan's eyes.

"Who are you, dare to threaten me?" said Panji, no less accepting.

Nathan immediately grinned, he brought his lips closer to Panji's ear, then whispered, "Agung Wicaksono isn't that great, he could even kneel under my feet,"

After saying that, Nathan immediately pushed Panji's body. He was causing the boy to take a few steps back to keep up with his body. Nathan smirked again, and then he embraced Dinda's body as if he wanted to tell Panji that Dinda was utterly his.

"If you were Dinda's boyfriend before, then from this moment on. You guys broke up. Because Dinda has become my girl, do you understand?"

"You dog, you son of a bitch!" angry Panji.

However, Nathan ignored it. He immediately left while holding Dinda's hand with hurried steps. He knew Dinda was weird, and he didn't want Dinda to be hysterical again like a while ago.

Nathan stopped at the center of the field when he ensured that if Panji didn't follow him, he looked straight at the girl whose hand had been clasped for a long time. Cold, Dinda's hands feel cold. However, Nathan could not guess what Dinda's expression would be like now. For her face was bowed deeply, and her flowing hair covered her face so perfectly.

Nathan was silent for a moment, and only he felt so stiff this time. Only this time, he felt awkward with a girl in his life. And despite it all, this is the first time he feels guilty for kissing Dinda.

So, what should Nathan do now so that Dinda will look at him?

Nathan placed his index finger on Dinda's forehead, then pushed Dinda's head slightly so that the girl looked up at him. Dinda's clear eyes looked into his eyes, and it managed to make Nathan extremely nervous. Just looking at Dinda's clear eyes, he remembered the kiss earlier.

"You're healthy, right? You won't be hysterical anymore, will you? There's no Sasa or Selly here who will help me lift you if you faint," Nathan snapped. But, Dinda is still silent. "You don't have to big head with the kiss earlier. I did that solely because I wanted to save you from creatures that seem even more terrifying than zombies, and the geeky genie in your eyes. And remember, yes, my mouth is not infected with any infectious virus. So it's guaranteed to be safe. You know it!" he said at length.

Again, the drizzle began to fall in an irreverent manner, at an inopportune time like this. Or even the rain was about to obscure Dinda's tears, who were reluctant to come out because of Nathan?

Nathan swallowed hard. He didn't know what to do. Because the wound that Dinda felt made Nathan almost crazy. He tried to guess and guess what caused Dinda to be so afraid of the bastard earlier. But, until then, Nathan could never find the answer.

"When it's raining, don't you have a dream to cry? At least the rain can cover your ugly face when you cry," Nathan said again.

Nathan was about to leave. Maybe at this time, Dinda needed some time alone. However, when he was about to leave. Dinda's hand pulled his jacket, making Nathan turn towards Dinda, then the girl hugged him so tightly. Her cries broke, her body trembled violently as if the pain that had been piling up in her heart spilled over. Finally, Nathan saw Dinda's broken side. Dinda's weakest side had always been rude to him. Nathan's hands were still on his back, and he didn't even know what to do. Dinda hugs back or needs to be a Nathan, who Dinda is now making a statue.

Tonight, Dinda wears a thick blanket while watching television with Nadya in her room. The rain still refused to stop, which made them reluctant to move from anywhere.

Nadya glanced at Dinda. There are many questions she wants to say to Dinda. Moreover, when she saw Dinda return home soaking wet with Nathan. However, the question that was cramming her brain was undone. She already knew enough about the situation by now—Dinda, back gloomy.

"He was here, Nad ..." said Dinda at last. Making Nadya, who had been eating kuai, turned to look at her. "Panji... Panji was at school, looking for me, Nad. He... he must be planning something evil again with me," continued Dinda. Her eyes lit up again, and she heard a hysterical tone there.

Nadya immediately embraced Dinda, trying to calm the girl still in a broken state.

"Calm down, Din, it's me. From now on, going and coming home from school, you're with me, right? I won't let anyone hurt you,"

Dinda again cried in Nadya's arms, and she hugged Nadya's body tightly, trying to find peace there when she hugged Nathan's body this afternoon.

"I'm scared, Nad. I'm really afraid of Panji."

"So for today, and so on, forget about Panji and we'll go shopping until we're satisfied," said Nadya this morning.

Schools are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. That's why Nadya insisted on taking Dinda to the mall on this pretty sunny Saturday morning. In addition to wanting to invite Dinda out of the complex, Nadya also wants to spend some of Dinda's needs. That girl needs help to become one of the Airlangga High School students because a pretty face alone is not enough to be still able to stand firmly there.

"But, Nad... I don't have any money anymore," said Dinda while puffing her cheeks.

This morning she wanted to sleep until noon or enjoy a few books to read. However, Nadya kept forcing her to come out. Moreover, in the place, she had just stepped on.

"Well, you don't have to be lazy like a difficult person like that," said Nadya.

Then she walked over to some clothing and cosmetic stands. Honestly, several times Nadya took clothes for Dinda, always Dinda refused. She was timid. Dinda knew very well that the brands chosen by Nadya were not brands with low prices. And it was given free for her? Dinda, it's not that bad.

"Nad, please... don't make me feel awkward like this," begged Dinda.
