Kapitel 122: Rooftop

There's just a brief pause of the two of them taking in each other's presence and fully living into the hug. This is what Miso had been missing. She buried her head in his neck and took in a breath of his sweet, comforting perfume. Miso felt so warm by him, even if the cold night of the air was brushing against your skin.

He tightened the grip around her body. There's so much emotion in this hug. It's more than a hug. It's a closeness between them that she hadn't felt before with anyone. She brushed her hand against his back and the both of them just melt in each other's arms.

After a while of just holding each other in silence, Chris decided to break it with the first thing Miso had heard him say in the past two weeks.

"Did something happen?" He asked, still gripping onto her as if the wind would blow her away any second and take her away from him.
