It could be counted on two hands the number of times Gael drove and picked her back from school, thus what he said was nonsense.
"Don't kid me, you didn't drive me to school, you gave me money to take public transportation." Zuri swatted his hand away.
"Oh, did I?" Gael looked surprised when he heard that. "I don't remember that, you know when you grow old, you become senile," he chuckled at his own joke, but quickly stopped when he saw the way Zuri threw him a dagger look. "Okay, I will stop here."
