Versailles blinked in confusion.

Since when was she so popular with the wolves?

Since she entered the Underworld Palace, she'd only ever gone to the Underworld City once. The deafening cheers and encouraging calls made her doubt her reality. 

Certainly, that one brief visit wasn't memorable enough for the wolves and their mates to enthusiastically holler out her name. So their cries, if it wasn't baffling, had caught her off guard.

"Serpentine Queen!"

"We're with you! You can do it!"

"Serpentine Queen! Werewolf King!"

When she heard her mate being called out with her, understanding dawned on her.

'Ah...it seems I'm receiving their enthusiastic support because of Ramose.'

"Serpentine Queen, Snake Queen, receive the Light of Hope!"

At the end of the elder's speech, Versailles saw two grey wolves walking toward them with a round ball of blue-silver light on their backs.
