Eugene thought for a moment, wondering why his daughter was suddenly invested in the tattoos. He hoped she was not getting one.

  "I have never researched into it because the truth is, gold tattoos are 99.99 per cent impossible." Eugene started. "Our skin is not a blank canvas that can be painted with metallic ink, nor does it become green-coloured if you stitch a gold leaf underneath it. Skin cells don't possess the lustre of metals like gold, which reflect light in a way that skin cannot. It is a futile attempt, like trying to make a fire burn underwater."
