Clary nodded eagerly, her eyes shining with delight. "I woke up early in the morning to make this for you."

Leandre's heart raced with disbelief as he heard the news - she had woken up early just to prepare him a meal. Was she trying to give him a heart attack? Leandre's fingers eagerly grasped the box and opened it. Inside, a kaleidoscope of vegetables intermingled in a tempting mix, causing his heart to warm at the thought of the time she had spent preparing it. He couldn't wait to taste the little girl's food, savouring every bite. 

Leandre shifted his gaze at Clary. Clary silently questioned him, and he uttered. "How do I eat?"
