James disappointedly stared at Lordes for her betrayal. It was only sadness that he might not have shown to the other members of Daga Nero. He regards her as his family.

When Fabrizio just brought James into the Belgenza family, Lordes was the first person to greet and prepare food for him. Lordes warmly taught him to cook for the first time before James then took a professional chef specialty cooking class.

Now the same woman who welcomed James in the mansion was the one who betrayed him the most.

"Why did you do this to get revenge on me?" James asked, still in a low tone.

"You tortured and killed Marissa. Even though she is innocent," Lordes replied without hesitation in the same gritted tone.

"She's a snitch in Daga Nero!" Lordes shook her head to refuse it.

"She is innocent. She never betrayed you. " James slightly raised the tip of his lip to smirk.
