Kapitel 36: Chapter 36
A few weeks passed and Ragna decided to leave Fishman Island.
During this time, Ragna was training by leaving the island for a certain amount of time each day. In this way, he wanted to use his fruit's ability more while underwater and it worked. Right now, he could come out his tail while underwater.
Ragna, Law, and Jimbei were now at Fisher Tiger's house.
"So you're leaving. Well, take care of yourself. The New World is a very dangerous place. I spent a very short period of my life there, and I nearly died many times in that short time." Fisher Tiger said while remembering his past.
"We'll probably manage to survive somehow. After all, I don't want to die yet, and if I die no problem too. Hahaha!" Ragna said with a laugh.
Law was looking strangely at Ragna curiously. There's no laughing matter in that, right? Here we are talking about dying.
Frankly, Ragna was seriously not normal at all. He was probably mentally deranged after everything he'd been through. Just a little bit.
But they were already used to his behavior.
Ragna said, "Actually, I might need the help of someone out there." Then, he added while looking at Jimbei, "Jimbei, I want you to join my crew. I'm going to need a lot of your helmsman abilities."
Jimbei was surprised by his offer. After thinking for a while, he shook his head and said, "Unfortunately, I cannot go with you. I can't just leave my crew."
Ragna was sad to hear this because he wanted him in his crew.
"Jimbei, they will understand you. When I look at you, I understand directly that you want to go with Ragna." Fisher Tiger said.
Jimbei really wanted to go with Ragna', but since he had a crew, he had a responsibility to them.
Jimbei looked very hesitant, after a short while he said with a sigh, "Sigh* Let me talk to them first. I'll let you know my decision later."
Ragna said with a laugh, as he still has a chance, "Hahaha! Well, then We'll be waiting for you tomorrow. Then we will leave the island."
After talking with them for a while, Ragna and Law went towards Ryugu Palace.
Since Ragna had already said goodbye to Ishilly before, he didn't need to see her again.
Also, Ragna had met Madam Shyarly at the Mermaid Cafe. But nothing that important happened between them.
Shyarly actually was quite attracted to him at first, after all, she had heard that he had saved Otohime. So she tried to look into his future. But no matter how hard she tried, she could not see his future. So she decided that he wasn't that important people after all.
When Ragna said he would leave the island after a while, Neptune called him to the palace. He was planning to make a farewell dinner for them as he learned that they were leaving.
When Ragna and Law entered the palace, they noticed Shirahoshi running directly towards them.
"Ragna-niisama and Law-sama welcome!" Shirahoshi said excitedly. In these past few weeks, she had become quite close to Ragna. She even called him brother now.
"Shirahoshi, how are you today? Let's go to your father, he called us." Ragna said with a smile.
After Shirahoshi nodded and they went to Neptune while were talking about random things.
A short time later, the entire royal family gathered and began to eat together. After they ate their food, Neptune directly brought up the subject.
"I hope you find what you seek in the New World." Neptune said while looking at Ragna and he added, "I would also like to point out that you will always be welcome here."
Otohime asked with a smile, "When will you be leaving here?"
"If everything is ready, we are thinking of going tomorrow. Besides, we stayed here too long." Ragna said.
At that moment, Shirahoshi tearfully came towards him and said, "Ragna-niisama, are you leaving?"
"Yes, but I will definitely come again. We'll play together again when I come back." Ragna said.
Shirahoshi said as a few drops of tears fell from her face, "Promise?"
Ragna reached out and touched her face and then said with a smile, "Of course. Also, I'll tell you about the adventures I had when I came to you, okay?"
Shirahoshi nodded with a smile.
Next day*
Ragna and Law went with Fisher Tiger to the ship.
"Tiger, thank you for coating my ship." Ragna said as he looked at his ship, which was coating in a bubble.
"It doesn't matter. I already told you, I've been doing this job since I've been here. It makes pretty good money. Well did you talk to Jimbei?" Fisher Tiger said.
"No, I saw him last time I was with you. What do you think? Will he come with me?" Ragna said.
"Don't worry, he will come. Besides, he wants to sail with you." Fisher Tiger said.
At that moment, they noticed Jimbei coming towards them.
Jimbei came up to them then he said, "I'm a little late, but I'm ready to go." And he slightly pointed to the bag he was carrying on his back.
Ragna said with a laugh, "Hahaha! Welcome to my crew."
Law said with a smile, "Thank you Jimbei, for joining the crew. Thanks to you, we will be safer at least."
The little boat involuntarily came to life in Law's mind at that moment. It was Law's nightmare.
Then, after saying goodbye to Fisher Tiger, they boarded the ship and began to rise upwards thanks to the buoy.
Fisher Tiger watched them go, full of longing his eyes. After blinking a few times, he smiled and walked over to his wife.
