Cora melted into his embrace as she broke down sobbing and Ace felt horrible for not noticing what was going on sooner before. She had been right about that much. No wonder she didn't want to tell him.

This was a communication issue though. If she had told him from the start, they wouldn't be having this problem.

For such a talkative person, she really never said anything at all. It was beyond frustrating. How was he supposed to walk around her landmines if he didn't even know what they were? Why couldn't she just TELL him things?
