Kapitel 80: You Really Don't Know What I'm Actually Like

It took an entire agonizing week for Jasper to get everything together and ensure not a trace of him was left behind in L.A. He had to get everything ready for his move to Tucson too. He left his number two in charge after cleanly removing himself from all of the evidence. If someone else was stupid enough to screw it up later, they wouldn't take him down with them.

Bree said she didn't want to hear from him until he wasn't involved in anything illegal so he resisted the urge to text her (despite not being much of a texter unless work was involved) until he was on the way to the airport. He asked if they could talk once he arrived.

She surprised him by saying she could pick him up at the airport as long as he wasn't concerned about not being able to fit in her car. That made him laugh.
