Kapitel 272: Final Act I: The revival of history

Everyone inside the guardhouse where Deimos was being treated fled the room when Sally regained her consciousness. At first, some of them tried to sedate her, but to no avail.

So Deimos, with his remaining willpower, tried to subdue a wolf, who seemed to enter a feral state. However, he quickly realized this wasn't just as simple as going feral.

Something darker and dreadful was at play. 

He commanded everyone to leave the guardhouse, and now, everyone was outside, staring at the door they locked. Everyone could hear Sally's loud, painful screams. 

"Father..." Teresa walked closer to Deimos as fear and worry took over her face.

Deimos forced a smile as he patted her head mildly. His mouth opened and closed, but words were stuck in his throat. So in the end, he couldn't even speak a word of white lies to soothe his daughter's worries.
