"We reached Zenira," Evelyn said as soon as she saw the forest nearing the trireme.
"Yes, we did," Elric replied.
The sun setting turned her face orange-red. Water was calm and appeared like orange juice spilt over the land. She looked ahead at the green forest and sighed as finally the snow melted and she could have evening walks without draping herself into a shawl.
"We are going to have a six-hour journey in the carriage," he informed her.
She nodded and understood what part of the zenira she was in. After an hour later, the Trireme stopped at the edge of the river. Evelyn followed Elric to get out of the ship, followed by Mr Wooster. As soon as they stepped out, a carriage approached them.
"Had asked Earl to send a carriage so that we wouldn't have to walk towards the village for a public carriage."
