Kapitel 149: Shattered 1

"Good morning, Evelyn," Earl greeted her as she walked down the stairs. 

She greeted him back and took a seat opposite to him on the breakfast table. The new began with new energy for her. She was excited from the time she woke up. Why? Well, why not? She was going to propose to Elric and begin the new phase of her life with him. 

"Why are you smiling, Eve?" Earl asked, noticing an unusual smile plastered on her face. 

She glanced around being shy, checking if there was a servant nearby, before replying, "I am going to confess today." She revealed. Her cheeks turned red as she thought about it. 

"Excellent!" Earl exclaimed before adding, "Stay confident like you always are." 

She nodded at him and quickly munched on her breakfast along with him. Later, they both left for the council. Everything appeared to be cheery that day. The trees, the birds, the river. The plain blue sky appeared to be pink for her, enhancing her romantic feelings inside her.
