Kapitel 123: Massacre 1

The four councilmen exited the carriage as they approached the village's outskirts.

"Where did you see the markings, Miss Evelyn?" Mr Saemus inquired.

Evelyn scanned the ground for the point on the circle where the massive V began. Finding the spot, she walked over there, followed by the other three.

"Hmm," Mr Saemus begin, "I reckon to trail the lines and see if the pattern which Miss Evelyn anticipated is right or wrong "

Everyone nodded and followed the lines that led to them. According to Evelyn, the pattern inside the circle was a star, as that was the only one that could define the meaning of the horizontal line. Nevertheless, it was better to cross-check once, and moreover, by doing so, they would also come to know if the markings are done completely or not.

After an hour, everyone reconvened at the village's outskirts.

Mr Saemus affirmed, "It's a star etched in the circle."

"Is there any way to stop the ritual?" Elric asked him.
