Kapitel 109: Discussion 2

"There should be seven candidates for the interview, not six," Evelyn commented as she immediately remembered something. She recalled the conversation with her uncle in which he revealed that eight candidates had been discovered alive and one of them was the imposter. They needed to figure out who the seventh candidate who didn't make it into the council was.

"How do you know about that?" Elric asked.

She answered, "Uncle Admiral had mentioned this."

"Now where is he?" Elric wondered. "At the very least, they join because of the bonus that the council gives to the candidates. It's surprising that the man even being chosen as a councilman didn't show up," he added.

"How can you be so sure that the candidate was a male?" she asked frowning at him.

"You and Ana were the only ones who passed the council tier one exam. He reasoned, "I didn't spot any other woman in the tier two exam except you two."
