"What have you clinched for me?" Evelyn didn't mince words when she asked the question. She anticipated he'd already considered what she needed to do. She didn't mind if her entire fortune was taken away; the only thing that bothered her was the deceit term tainting her surname.

Despite the fact that her father always donated a share of his fortune for the development of small villages, the newspaper article portrayed her family as shady. She noticed how the news was written from one perspective. Furrowing her brows, she wondered who had a vengeance against her family.
