Kapitel 64: Chapter 64: The Undying Snake Finally Dead?

In the dimly lit laboratory, Orochimaru stood alone, surrounded by the faint hum of machinery and the scent of chemicals.

Clutching a clipboard in one hand, he meticulously jotted down the progress of his latest experiment, carefully noting the changes occurring within the test tube before him. The room was filled with an air of anticipation, as if something extraordinary was about to happen.

Suddenly, without warning, a black portal materialized in the corner of the room. Orochimaru's eyes widened in surprise, his mind racing to comprehend the unexpected phenomenon unfolding before him. He had expected Sasuke, his former student, to make an appearance, but instead, a figure clad in the iconic armor of Batman Arkham Knight emerged from the portal.

A sense of unease washed over Orochimaru as he felt the unmistakable aura of danger emanating from the Dark Knight.

Before he could react, Batman's lightning-fast reflexes kicked into action, swiftly closing the distance between them. Orochimaru found himself caught off guard as Batman's iron grip closed around his throat, cutting off his air supply. Even with his flexible physiology, Orochimaru struggled to free himself from the vice-like grip, realizing that Batman's strength surpassed his own.

Desperation set in as Orochimaru attempted to loosen Batman's hold by using his serpentine body to coil around the vigilante's hands.

But to his dismay, his efforts proved futile against Batman's unwavering strength. Gasping for breath, Orochimaru managed to summon a semblance of confidence amidst the dire circumstances.

"Are you trying to kill me?" Orochimaru's voice rang out, laced with a mixture of defiance and curiosity. He knew all too well that death was an elusive concept for someone like him, someone who had delved into the depths of forbidden jutsu and achieved immortality.

In a chilling response, the Rinnegan, a legendary eye technique, activated in Batman's left eye, its piercing light casting an eerie glow across the room.

"Haha, interesting" As Orochimaru's soul fragmented under the weight of Batman's power, a twisted smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

He found fascination in this unexpected turn of events, knowing that every fragment of his being in this plane of existence had been drawn into his own body.

And yet, as he looked into Batman's light blue eyes, a sense of intrigue and uncertainty stirred within him, for he sensed that this encounter was far from ordinary.

With a swift and decisive motion, Batman unleashed the devastating power of Particle Style, reducing Orochimaru to mere nothingness. The force of the attack was so immense that it left no trace of the notorious shinobi's existence.

Aware of the surveillance cameras recording his every move, Batman's keen eyes spotted the intrusive lens. In a display of precision and agility, he flickered with incredible speed, generating a powerful gust of wind that obliterated the camera, leaving no evidence behind.

Turning his attention to the laboratory, Batman embarked on a mission to eradicate any remnants of Orochimaru's research.

With calculated efficiency, he dismantled every piece of equipment, shattered glass tubes, and ensured that no trace of Orochimaru's twisted experiments remained. In the midst of his thorough destruction, Batman stumbled upon a map that revealed the location of another hidden base, fueling his determination to bring an end to Orochimaru's sinister operations.

Approximately 55% of the base lay in ruins, a testament to Batman's relentless pursuit of justice. Suigetsu, one of Orochimaru's loyal followers, attempted to confront Batman, but his efforts were swiftly thwarted.

Utilizing the enigmatic powers of the Rinnegan, Batman solidified Suigetsu's body into a 3D box, rendering him immobile and helpless.

With Suigetsu in his grasp, Batman vanished in a blink of an eye, teleporting outside the base. As he reappeared, he unleashed the destructive force of the Particle Style jutsu, obliterating the entire structure in a cataclysmic display of power. The Konoha ninjas who had been guarding the base stood in stunned silence, witnessing the once formidable stronghold reduced to a gaping crater.

Touching down gracefully on the ground, Batman gently released Suigetsu, his gaze unwavering as he faced the approaching Konoha shinobis.

Yamato, the leader of the group, stood at the forefront, his expression a mix of surprise and determination. Batman's piercing gaze seemed to penetrate their very souls, and with a subtle manipulation of his Rinnegan, he erased their memories of witnessing his devastating use of Particle Style. The same fate befell Suigetsu, leaving him bewildered and alone.

Without a word, Batman disappeared into thin air, teleporting to a secluded forest. Resting his hand against a sturdy tree, he used it as support, ensuring he wouldn't lose his balance. His body, remarkably resilient and capable of regeneration, allowed him to endure the strain of Reality Distortion without facing the brink of death.

"Next base," Batman declared with unwavering determination, his voice echoing with an air of authority.

Without hesitation, Batman unleashed his formidable power, obliterating the next base in a display of sheer force. With each successive attack, he left no stone unturned, ensuring that Orochimaru's presence was eradicated completely. As he scoured the base for valuable information, numerous Jutsu scrolls came flying towards him, drawn by his magnetic presence.

Encountering a Log, Batman swiftly incapacitated him, rendering him unconscious. Utilizing the mystical abilities of his Rinnegan, Batman delved into the Log's memories, extracting vital information that would aid him in his mission.

In a single night, every one of Orochimaru's bases fell victim to Batman's relentless onslaught. The destruction left in his wake was nothing short of catastrophic, a testament to the full extent of his power.

As the dust settled, Boruto, who had assumed the guise of Batman, found himself amidst the ruins of Uzushiogakure. Reverting back to his true form, he deactivated his disguise, revealing his own visage. With a determined expression, he murmured, "I need to fix this, to restore what has been broken."

Gazing up at the sky, Boruto's face lit up with a gentle smile. "I believe I made good use of my powers, don't you think?" he mused, a sense of pride evident in his voice.

With a bittersweet smile, Boruto whispered softly, "I hope you find peace in the pure land," his thoughts drifting to the memory of Shirotsuchi.

The following day, Karin returned to the base, her eyes widening in shock as she beheld the sight before her—a massive, gaping hole where the base once stood.

"What on earth happened here?!" Karin exclaimed, her voice a blend of disbelief and alarm. "I must inform Mitsuki about this immediately, just to be safe."

As Naruto and Shikamaru stood atop the majestic Hokage building, their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Sasuke.

"I heard that Orochimaru's base was destroyed," Sasuke inquired, his voice laced with curiosity.

"Yes, and that's not all," Naruto replied, his tone filled with a mix of awe and concern.

"Every single base, including the hidden one, was completely obliterated," Shikamaru added, his voice tinged with a hint of disbelief.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed as he processed the information. "Do we have any eyewitness accounts?" he questioned, his gaze focused intently on his comrades.

"Suigetsu, Yamato, and their squad were fortunate enough to witness the perpetrator in action," Naruto revealed, his voice brimming with a sense of urgency.

"They described the individual as someone clad in black attire, adorned with a bat motif," Shikamaru chimed in, presenting a sketch that Sai had meticulously crafted. "Like this."

Naruto nodded solemnly. "It's unlikely that this person is an Otsutsuki. I have a feeling that they hold a deep grudge against Orochimaru," he mused, his voice tinged with conviction.

"And they certainly succeeded in exacting their revenge," Shikamaru added, his tone tinged with a mix of admiration and concern.

"Is Orochimaru truly dead?" Sasuke questioned, his voice filled with uncertainty.

"That's something we're still unsure about," Shikamaru responded, his tone reflecting a similar sense of ambiguity.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed further as he absorbed the information. "Do we have any leads?" he pressed, his voice filled with determination.

Shikamaru sighed, his expression reflecting the weight of the situation. "Unfortunately, we don't. We suspect it may be an Otsutsuki, but we lack solid evidence to support that theory," he replied, a tinge of frustration evident in his voice.

Naruto turned to Sasuke, his gaze unwavering. "Sasuke, keep a vigilant lookout, just in case," he commanded, his voice firm with authority.

Sasuke nodded, his Sharingan gleaming with determination. "I understand. I'll be on my way," he affirmed, disappearing in a flash of teleportation.

Naruto and Shikamaru found themselves at a loss, unsure of how to proceed. The perpetrator had left no evidence behind, leaving them to speculate that they possessed a teleportation ability.

"Who could this person be?" Shikamaru pondered aloud, his voice tinged with frustration. "According to Ino, that bat-themed individual seems to have quite expensive armor. It feels like they had assistance in teleporting or that an Otsutsuki is orchestrating things from behind the scenes, minimizing the risk of Orochimaru's intervention."

Naruto nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "You're right," he acknowledged, his voice filled with concern.

In another location, Anko, not in her plumper form, couldn't help but smile upon hearing the news of Orochimaru's demise. The disappearance of the Curse Mark's essence brought her a sense of joy and relief.

"But I still can't shake the feeling that he hasn't truly perished," Anko said as she transformed back into her fat form.

Meanwhile, Mitsuki sat on his balcony, his attention focused on the information being relayed to him by Karin and Suigetsu through his small white snake.

"Who could have done this?" Mitsuki muttered to himself, his voice laced with a mix of curiosity and determination. "But I refuse to believe that they could have killed my father."

Unfortunately for him, the truth was grim. The Dark Knight had indeed succeeded in eliminating Orochimaru without a doubt.
