***ADDIE'S POV*** 

Nolan and I were as settled into this new life of ours as we could get. Spring was already upon us, and there was little I was able to do at the moment. Nolan was responsible for most things. All I was permitted to do most days was read through some documents while resting in bed for the bulk of my time.

The baby had grown so big in my belly that it was hard for me to move around most of the time. More often than not, I wasn't able to get to my feet on my own. I needed someone to pull me up or even to carry me around. And I truly hated just lying around all the time. I wanted to see things, people, and places.

You never realize how much you miss seeing people when you are kept away from them. Especially when you were still getting used to a new place, a new home and city. Yes, I was settled in now, but that didn't mean I didn't still miss Athea and the home I used to know inside the palace.
