**NOLAN'S POV**

I guess that, learning from Addie, there was a way to find the good in every situation. Even I could find a little bit of something to love about the father that had abandoned me at the palace and didn't seem to care about me at all. He was my father after all, and there was a time when I was a very little boy that he had loved me. I was certain of it.

"I am sure that they would have taken you to a maze if they thought that it was accommodating enough for you." Addie had taught me a lot about what it had meant to be paralyzed and disabled in her last life, and how difficult it was for those people. I could understand why she was having such a hard time right now.

"I know. They weren't bad people, they loved me, and I loved them as well." Her smile was bittersweet and made my heart ache for her.

"Come on, Addie, let's get to enjoying this day."

"Wait a minute, Nolan." She pulled on my hand a little as I moved to walk toward the maze once more.
