Qie Xieling turned the note over and saw the words, "Library, study room two at eleven." He had a one-hour break at around eleven. A smile crept up his face as he sat at the back of the auditorium caressing the note. He knew his man wouldn't be able to stay away obediently. 

The auditorium had been a blur before as he tried to focus through the throbbing in his head but as he unscrewed the cap, the steam rose carrying with it the scent of ginger and a hint of something more potent.

He took a sip, the warmth cascading down his throat, spreading through his chest like a gentle fire. It was more than just the heat of the soup; it was the warmth of his sweetheart's care. It was as though a silent message of affection had been simmered in the broth.

With each mouthful, the fog in Qie Xieling's mind lifted, the gloom of going through this day vanishing. He was looking forward to seeing his sweetheart later.
