Krasny's phone broke the magic with its vibrations. The alpha frowned, wondering who the hell was calling him, and his expression froze after he checked his device's screen. He glanced at Winnie to see if the male omega was looking at him. He saw him focused on what Eden was explaining to him and the red-haired alpha got up then walked to the back of the house. He stopped in the doorway leading to the small garden where Glen and Eden were before their lunch and picked up the phone.

"Yes, Alpha Cyrus? Is there a problem?" he said with a hint of concern.

Everything was going perfectly well and the werewolf had never felt better since his mate was near him. He didn't want bad news that would take Winnie's presence away from him. He listened to the voice and his hand clenched around the device.
