Kapitel 269: 268

Music: The world is Mine- Samm Henshaw

The night continued smoothly, the clear sky was much different from the one he had gotten used to in the city. There were no flashing lights, just the sweet sparkle of the moon and the air was chilly but not cold, refreshing as it caressed Kai's skin. He had been standing on the porch of Philip's private house, gazing with his blue eyes at the houses in front of him. Some of them had their lights on while others remained silent, their tenants sleeping. The forest was truly beautiful, the clearing they were placed looked idyllic as the moon bathed it with its cold light.

There was chaos approaching, running and fighting but this moment, as he stood still looking at all the things his lover had accomplished he felt an overwhelming feeling of pride. Philip was amazing, his calming strength, his kindness, everything about him was so different from how rash and aggressive he could be and that probably made them the perfect couple.
