[Western region of the central continent. Location: undetermined. 12th day of the 5th month. 04:05 AM]
The cave was barely ten meters (32.8 ft) deep, its rock walls were cold, and the wind from outside was dry. A man wrapped in dirty red cloaks lay on a pile of dead moss at the end of the cave. He had a slender build, 1.70 meters ( 5.57 ft) tall, black hair that reached to his shoulders, dark gray skin, a long tail, and a pair of curved horns protruding from his temples.
Zahal opened his eyes and sat up, leaning his back against the cave wall. His breathing was heavy, his muscles ached, and his body was drenched in sweat. He raised his head and looked around; the darkness of the cave was no problem for his eyes, white without a trace of color, adapted to see in the night as if it were the brightest day.
Hi, first of all I would like to apologize for the low number of chapters in the last few months. I am trying to get my life in order and plan to get back to posting a minimum of two chapters per week. Secondly, I made a mistake with the distance from the city to the border in the last chapter. It was supposed to be 200 cercs, not 2000. During the next few days I will be cheking and correcting my previous chapters; the story will not be affected in any way.
Thank you for reading.
